CRA announces software errors in charity’s annual information return

On January 29, 2014, the Canada Revenue Agency announced that due to a software error, they will be sending out a second annual information return package to charities subject to the Ontario Corporations Act with fiscal periods ending in October, November, and December 2013.
Obligated organizations must use the forms in the second package to file their charity’s annual information return, as they include Form RC232-WS, Director/Officer Worksheet and Ontario Corporations Information Act Annual Return.
Questions about this error and the second package can be directed to the Charities Directorate at 1-800-267-2384.
