It’s a pleasure to welcome Ian J. Cook as a regular guest blogger. Ian will be blogging about HR Metrics, which are fast becoming Canada’s leading source of HR data and analysis.
Ian has been an entrepreneur and an operational manager and spent 10 years consulting to some of the world’s leading companies. He currently heads up the BC Human Resources Management Association’s research and learning services. The corner stone of this work is the HR Metrics Service. The mission of the service is to make HR measurement common practice and unequivocally prove the value of great people practices.
Ian has an MA from the University of Edinburgh and an MBA from Lancaster University, and is a Certified Human Resources Professional. In his spare time he can be found exploring BC’s amazing outdoors with his wife and young family.
Ian will be posting on the second Thursday of each month. His first post is schedule for May 12, 2011.
