Introducing guest blogger Marcia Scheffler

Marcia SchefflerWe are happy to welcome Marcia Scheffler, M.A., CHRP candidate, to our roster of regular bloggers at First Reference Talks.

Marcia is a Human Resources Officer and Health and Safety Coordinator at Wawel Villa Seniors Residence in Mississauga. Marcia is interested in the intersection of human resources theory and current best practices in HR. She has a strong organizational development focus with an eye for business strategy and change management. She is an enthusiastic promoter of people and teams and passionate about driving human resources to support sustainable corporate social responsibility in business practices and using the CSR model to promote principled human resources management. Enjoyment of hiking, volleyball and family balance out her work and research pursuits.

Marcia will post monthly on the topics of human resources, health and safety and more, from an on-the-ground perspective. We look forward to sharing her expertise with you.
