We are very pleased to announce that The Disability Network (TDN) team members headed by Jerry Ford will be blogging on First Reference Talks and Inside Internal Controls.
The Disability Network, is an international leader in the world of disability issues and solutions. It is the first ever Digital Cable Network by and for persons with disabilities and the larger community. TDN’s objectives are to bridge society’s gap regarding persons with disabilities; to develop and mentor business relationships integrating communities and persons with disabilities; and to continue to build awareness of, and for, persons with disabilities within the greater business and not-for-profit community by providing useful content so that persons with disabilities can participate in every aspect of daily life.
TDN will help employers and the business community implement accessibility through awareness, education and solutions.
For over 25 years, Jerry Ford CPA, CA, has been involved heavily in the not-for-profit and charitable sectors in a variety of roles but frequently focused around his financial background as a Chartered Accountant. Early in his career he was involved in adult education at the professional and college level then moved back into public accounting and from that into financial consulting and a number of entrepreneurial initiatives until officially retiring at 55. His commitment to the not-for-profit sector and especially the disability community rapidly expanded to fill those leisure hours that had been created by retirement.
