Q: I am trying to determine if we have an obligation to have our casual workers sign off on the four percent vacation the company is paying them with each pay. I have heard that this is mandatory in Ontario, but I wanted to confirm.

Further to announcements made by the federal government, the Ontario government is soliciting feedback on proposed regulatory reforms that would eliminate the current investment rule that prohibits plan administrators from making investments that result in pension funds owning more than 30% of the voting shares of a corporation.
