We are very pleased to announce that Meghan Ferguson will be sharing her expertise with our readers on First Reference Talks. She will be covering issues surrounding employment and labour law, starting this month.
Meghan practices in employment and corporate law at Devry Smith Frank LLP. Prior to joining DSF, Meghan worked in employment standards and labour policy at the Ontario Ministry of Labour. Meghan also practiced for six years at one of Canada’s leading employment law firms. In 2010, Meghan went in-house with one of Canada’s oldest retailers. She managed the largest termination in Canadian history after Zellers sold 220 of its leases to Target. She also managed one of the longest class actions (K-Mart) and advised on proactive strategies to reduce risks and litigation.
We look forward to hearing from Meghan, and we hope you do, too!
