Introducing our newest guest blogger: Ann Barrow

Ann BarrowWe are very pleased to announce that Ann Barrow, licensed paralegal, will be blogging regularly on First Reference Talks!

Her areas of expertise include Administrative Law (WSIB, Landlord and Tenant Board and Human Rights Tribunal, among others), Employment Law, Small Claims Court as well as Licensed Professionals (skilled trades, engineers, doctors, etc.) and their Regulatory Bodies, just to name a few. Ann has over 8 years of experience studying WSIB/WSIAT case law, writing appeals and attending at hearings.

In addition to being a licensed paralegal, Ann is a published writer, experienced researcher and international and national guest lecturer. She has a master of arts in English literature and a doctorate in Communication and Culture. Ann has taught critical thinking and content mastery while working in academia as a Teaching Assistant, Coach/Tutor, Researcher and Course Director in post-secondary studies.

Ann pride’s herself on upholding personal/professional integrity through tactfulness, effective listening, keeping her word, down-to-earth personality, and her honesty, candor, confidentiality and competency.
