Canadian payroll rates now published twice yearly

The Canadian payroll guide published by First Reference is now published twice a year and provides payroll professionals with payroll-related rates, maximums and deadlines, and it’s free.

The first edition of the guide is published at the beginning of each year when the new rates are released and a second edition is published in July with any updates that have occurred since January. These updates take into account changes that occur throughout the year because of budget or legislative developments, especially this year with so many changes related to the way the workforce has had to adjust to modified working conditions because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The charts provided in the guide lay out the essential rates and amounts, updated to July 1, 2021, for:

  • Federal, provincial and territorial minimum wages
  • Federal/provincial/territorial indexation rates, income tax brackets and thresholds
  • WCB maximum assessable earnings and premium rates

To ensure that you have the most up-to-date payroll information, download the free Canadian payroll rates and amounts for 2021 today.
