This is a short follow up post to Christine Ha: MasterChef contestant with a disability but much ability! After weeks of intense competition and countless appetizing foods, only two remained, Josh Marks and Christine Ha, the show’s first contestant with a disability. She is blind.
In my opinion two great deserving contestants.
Suffice it to say, Christina Ha won Season 3 title of best home cook in America, as well as a $250,000 grand prize and a cookbook over Josh Marks in a hard-fought battle.
Christine Ha said to the media, she wanted to be taken seriously on “MasterChef.” As the show’s only sight-impaired competitor… she didn’t want to be a fluke, or an oddity, or a competitor who would be pitied for her “handicap”.
Well done Christina!
