Terminating for cause without cause
An Ontario court recently severely punished an employer that terminated an employee for cause without cause, which action to terminate undeservedly resulted in a criminal trial and cost the employee his reputation, marriage, and self-worth.

An Alberta labour arbitration case, Canada Post Corp. v. Canadian Union of Postal Workers has ruled that an employee’s derogatory and threatening Facebook postings about her supervisors justified dismissal for cause.
